PROJECTS DONE UNDER THE DEPARTMENT

  1. Multi Purpose Bicycle

To cope up with the prevailing energy crisis Mechanical Engineering students of ACE College of engineering developed a new concept called “Multi Purpose Bicycle(M.P.B). This was developed as a part of our college technical fest (ACE Fest) which was held during January 2015. M.P.B developed by Naveen Sankar G M, Abhijith R and Vipin V of Mechanical Engineering stole the hearts of spectators in the recently concluded ACE Fest. The prototype developed is capable of multiple functions such as wood cutting and liquid pumping etc. In addition to that it can be use as an exercising machine. The idea has great potential in the present day scenario of energy crisis.

The article was also published in the student magazine of ICT Academy of Kerala (ICTAK), an initiative of Govt. of India.
