Capacity Building and Skill Enhancement Programs

Life skills are abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life. Adaptive means that a person should have the flexibility to adjust according to the situation. For positive behaviour a person needs to have positive thinking and look at opportunities even in difficult situations, in order to cope with the situations. UNICEF defines life skill as “a behaviour change or behavioural development approach designed to address a balance of three areas viz, knowledge, attitude and skills”. We the ACE provides a number of programs for the development of life skills for each student by well known trainers in the field from college and outside college.
