CHAKRA – The Association of Mechanical Engineering Department is a unique platform formed for the development of student mentorship. CHAKRA organizes various technical and non-technical events which are entirely planned and executed by student coordinators under the guidance of department faculties. Sri. Afsal K F, faculty of Mechanical department is the Chakra staff coordinator. Mr. Al Ameen of final year class is the main student coordinator for the academic year 2021-22. Every year new student coordinators are being selected. CHAKRA ensures every student under the department is progressed in their personality and essential technical as well as interpersonal skill set in the direction of becoming a professional engineering graduate. CHAKRA thus focusing on developing Competitiveness, Critical thinking and Reasoning Skills, Leadership and Organizing capabilities, Decision making skills, Team work etc., in students.
