National Service Scheme

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit 309 of ACE College of Engineering, functioning under the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (APJAKTU) NSS Cell, plays a pivotal role in shaping socially responsible and community-oriented graduates. With the motto “Not Me, But You,” the unit emphasizes selfless service and the importance of placing the welfare of society above individual interests.

The NSS unit provides students with a platform to engage in constructive social service activities while pursuing their academic goals. It aims to develop their personality through community participation, instilling values of empathy, leadership, discipline, and civic responsibility. Volunteers are actively involved in programs that address crucial areas such as health awareness, environmental protection, rural development, women’s empowerment, and disaster response.

The unit follows a hands-on, experiential learning model, where students take on roles as organizers, facilitators, and problem-solvers. This participatory approach not only enhances their interpersonal and leadership skills but also builds empathy and civic sense. Through regular outreach programs, awareness campaigns, and collaborative initiatives, the unit bridges the gap between the campus and the community. It encourages students to identify social issues, contribute to solutions, and take part in nation-building efforts. By participating in NSS, students gain not only hands-on experience in service learning but also a broader perspective on societal needs and responsibilities.

The activities of the unit are designed to cultivate a sense of purpose and teamwork among volunteers, helping them grow as compassionate individuals and proactive leaders. The NSS Unit of ACE College has consistently stood out for its enthusiastic participation, innovative programs, and impactful contributions, earning recognition and appreciation from various organizations and stakeholders.

At ACE College of Engineering, the NSS is more than just a student club—it is a transformative experience that nurtures values, promotes holistic development, and inspires students to make a meaningful difference in the world around them
