Communication Engineering Lab

The communication laboratory is setup to complement the topics studied in the analog and digital communication theory course. The students perform experiments to consolidate basic knowledge in communication engineering. This lab focuses on training the students in Analog and Digital transmission and reception of signals. Students learn by constructing the circuits of Amplitude Modulation, Frequency Modulation and Phase Modulation. The other important area of analog signal processing is the Phase Locked Loop (PLL). Students also conduct experiment to find the capture and lock ranges with the designed specifications. PAM and PWM experiments are also learnt in the area of pulse techniques.
