Tech Fests/ Internships/Workshops

  1. Students of S6 EEE (2017-21 batch) attended ‘Reboot Kerala  Hackothon’- an initiative of the State Government of Kerala, held at Munnar. The team headed by Ashik Kalam, S6 EEE suggested developing an App for Energy Monitoring & alerting system for Domestic Appliances using iOT. They got selected for State level competition. [Around 2000 teams from various colleges participated and only 300 teams were selected for the next level]. Abhishek R of S6 EEE is also a member of the team. The team is guided by Josephin Mary, Asst Professor, EEE Dept.
  2. Harikrishnan S, Abhishek R & Al Ameen S of S6 (2017-21 batch) participated in “LigaRobotrix- a 14-day Hackathon Challenge” conducted by Vidya College of Engineering, Thrissur, in association with the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers.
  3. Ajeshlal A U of S8 (2016-20 batch) attended 10 days Internship on Transformer Installation at  Chithara Grama Panchayath, Kollam in connection with ASAP, a Kerala Government Initiative.
  4. Harikrishnan S, S6 (2017-21 batch) attended ‘Professional Students Summit’, a Kerala Government Initiative held at CUSAT, Ernakulam, accompanied by Vishakh K H, Asst Professor, EEE Dept. They got a chance to attend the technical talks of many eminent faculties.
  5. 26 students of Govt VHSE, Paraniyam were given a practical session on “Awareness in Computer Networking” by Remanikanth S & Vishakh K H, faculties of EEE department.
  6. Ajeshlal A U & Sarathlal of S8 (2016-20 batch) engaged in the Flood Relief Activities (Electrical Reinstallation work) at Aranmula, Pathanamthitta.
  7. Students of S6 (2017-21 batch) underwent internship at KELTRON.
  8. Students of S6 (2017-21 batch) attended workshop on Arduino Embedded Application Design at the College of Engineering, Muttathara.
  9. 3 students (2017-21 batch) attended a training program on ‘Android Development Training’  by ICTAK at Trinity College of Engineering.
  10. Aiswarya S H, Shahina Z, Harikrishnan P S, Nanda Gopan, and Ashik Kalam attended a workshop on “IoT Application Development” at ACE College of Engineering, held on March 29-30, 2019.

Students of EEE department participated in a 5-day workshop and hands-on training on Robotics conducted at ACE College of Engineering.
