On the 22nd of February, 2019, all roads led to ACE College of Engineering. The excitement among the students was palpable. Why so? Because it was time for ‘EPOCH 2K19’. We had a brief history of a couple of fests earlier but this year was a little different. EPOCH 2K19 promised a lot of fun and enjoyment. Right from the planning stage, this techno-cultural fest seemed a complete package and we hope no student was left disappointed at the end of the fest.
Epoch 2k19- the inter-collegiate techno-cultural fest of ACE College of Engineering- was organized in a grand way from February 22,2019 to February 24,2019, with competitions in the field of dance, music, film, fashion show, photography and many more. The official inauguration ceremony on the 22nd of February was presided over by the motivational speaker and fashion icon, Mr. Thasveer Muhammed. His words were indeed an inspiration to the student and faculty fraternity who were quite eager to listen to him.
The next two days witnessed student participants from across the state display their skills and talents on the big stage. With 30+ events and a prize money of over Rs. 3 lakhs, Epoch 2k19 was indeed an audio-visual treat with passion and enthusiasm booming throughout these days. This year, student participation saw a huge boost thanks to the publicity and event sponsors.
The grand Pro-Show of Epoch 2k19 was organized at Kowdiar Golf Links, Trivandrum on the eve of 24th February, 2019. We had one of the greatest musical legends of our state, Mr. Vineeth Sreenivasan and his team amongst us and he certainly made us dance to his tunes. The 3 hour performance left the entire audience awestruck and no one wanted the night to end. It was indeed a mesmerising experience for each and every one present there.
Epoch 2k19 was a great experience to all of us. We realized that it doesn’t hurt once in a while to go out and have fun, discover new things and learn outside the classroom. The techno-cultural events gave students the platform to display their vast range of skills and potential. A big thank you to the entire student and faculty community who cooperated with us and helped us in realising our hidden talents.
